About ... our company

We've been in business for more than 20 years, having been started by Trevor and John King in the proverbial garden shed with a single screen printing machine.

Now we have our own premises in Buckingham, close to Milton Keynes, Bicester and Brackley, and employ a total of seven staff and a raft of equipment. Our offer now includes clothing from over 40 manufacturers, school uniforms, sports kits, workwear, safety wear, embroidered badges, corporate gifts, and just about anything without wheels that can be branded!

The company is still run by Trevor, and his son, John. Keeping the company as a family-run business is important to us as it allows us the freedom to deliver consistent customer service without the pressures of shareholders and other 'hangers-on'.

How we work

We like to be able to deliver a good and reliable service to our customers, and that has driven us to operate in a particular way:

Maintaining our quality whilst staying flexible - we work closely with customers who sometimes have last minute needs. By having enough equipment and trained staff in-house we are able to meet those urgent needs without sacrificing the quality of the finished order. At the same time though we work with a range of specialist suppliers who can handle high volume or long lead time orders. This way we can manage the up and downs of our workload without failing any of our delivery or quality commitments.

Offering an end-to-end service - whilst many of our customers are well known commercial or educational organisations, we also work with small companies, sports clubs and individuals who aren't experienced in ordering branded clothing or gifts. So, we always take the time to talk customer's through the decision process along with the price and technology implications at each decision point. And we never talk down to customers who aren't quite sure what they really want ... yet.

Supporting this we have an in-house design capability so that we can take an idea from the most crumpled scrap of paper right through to final production. And judging by the level of repeat business and referrals that we regularly get ... we're doing a very good job at it.

Quickly, efficiently and openly - Once a customer has decided on exactly what they want, they want it delivered quickly and without any fuss. We aim to deliver all of our orders within two-weeks (excluding public holiday periods of course!). And if the nature of the order is such that we can't be sure of that, then we'll tell the customer up-front. Like you we don't want surprises in our business, so we always keep clear lines of communication open with our customers.
